I give Precision 5 stars from start to finish. I am a big fan of technology and Precision's use of it is great. Starting with the inquiry process on the web site a rep followed up to book a site visit the same day. On the Saturday of our appointment our family received an email and a text letting us know our sales rep Mike Ganning was on his way. He arrived on the dot (an A++ plus for punctuality). Mike was vital in helping my husband and I pick the right product. We were looking to purchase a wood grain and he gave us some great insights on which product would best fit our needs. He also does installs so he had a lot to say about that process - he did a really great job educating us as first time garage door buyers. He was patient with my many questions. On the day of the install, again we received text messages and emails letting us know that Rudy D and Julian Z were on their way. As a mom putting managing getting everyone out the door for the day it was amazing to know when our team was arriving. Julian and Rudy were on prompt, polite and professional. They gave me the rundown on the install upon arrival, finished exactly when they said they would (about 4 hours from start to finish on a set of double doors), left the place totally clean, and walked me through the instructions for the keypad and remotes (which are both super easy!). Two tiny notes. I wanted to visit the showroom in Mamaroneck prior to placing my final order. I didn't realize it was appointment only - it was super easy to make one, but I am glad I just didn't pop in. The only other way they could improve is sending you a text with your estimated install date. Not the biggest deal since I was able to get touch with Mike in a pinch, but it's the only tweak I would recommend. Bravo Precision - thank you!

Luke & Precision Door are excellent. I’ve been meaning to write this review sooner but I recently closed and moved into this house and I’ve got a lot on my plate. I didn’t know what to expect when I hired them to repair my electronic garage door. It had suddenly gone off the track the night before. The firm has an efficient process by which they schedule a customer Via the main office and then dispatch a technician to your home. And as the technician is on the way, they send a text with a link in real time showing the technician’s route and whereabouts as he’s heading to your location. This, for me, was a good beginning. When Luke arrived I noticed he was instantly personable and confident and diagnosed the problem. He presented a plan which I approved and within a half hour he had fixed it, replaced the cables and lubricated the system. It’s been a month since it was repaired and I’ve had no issues. I would hire them again if anything, god forbid, occurs. And I would want Luke to be the Technician again. I always think, whenever possible, consistency is best.

Tech called on time and did a detailed inspection of the door and correctly IDed the problem: not a broken torsion spring (my diagnosis) but an old mechanical system needing replacement which he did in 13 degree weather in under 2 hrs!. Jennifer, hearing my emergency, went out of her way to ensure I was helped. Her support and dedication brought Luke to my house within one hour of my call. Luke, who was finished for the day, came and saved us from a night of being unable to get out and to keep critical medical appointments. His professionalism and dedication resulted in a complete top-notch repair less than four hours from my original call.
