The service tech was very polite, however for the replacement of two torsion springs the price was three time the average cost. That’s really taking advantage of customers!!!!!! Zero Star rating.

hello Vincent... I'm not quite sure what warrants the comment "Thieves"? You had requested to have a motor replaced. Our technician came to your residence on 10/14 and determined that your garage is to far from the house and would not pick up the gateway signal. And to quote your feedback on 10/14, "Your tech was honest and told me what I wanted would not work!" We have a $69 service fee to come out to a residence, of which you were charged. On 10/15 I left a message with you advising that we were unable to perform service (but just able to give some HONEST advice) and would be refunding you the $69 service fee!! Your service is very fast and attentive which is appreciated. however I WAS NOT INITIALLY TOLD MY FULL OPTIONS AS TO PRICING OF NEW MOTORS AND THEREFORE DECIDED NOT TO SPEND THE MONEY AND RETAIN THE OLD WHICH LOOKS TERRIBLE.

Ben was excellent and competent with a very pleasant demeanor. However, your Yellow Pages ads were very misleading. The information indicates you carry "All major Brands" and "Lifetime Warranty." Neither of these are true, which is the reason I would not recommend Precision. I research products I wish to purchase and feel disappointed and mislead, particularly as a BBB business member. No stars.

Ruth, Thank you for taking my phone call. To review the discussion we had today. We do service all major brands but when my technician inspected your existing 18 year old Craftsman Motor we found that first it was inoperable due to a short circuit. Additionally, it was 18 years old, near the end if not past it's expected life cycle. We also noted that it was not UL325 compliant as it had no safety eyes. To repair this motor would have been throwing good money after bad. That is why my technician Ben recommended replacement. As for the Warranty, we will give lifetime warranties on garage door repairs and not motors. However, I have extended the manufacturer warranty to you from their standard to a lifetime warranty guaranteed by Precision Door. Once again thank you for taking my phone call, it is important for me and my company to receive comments, both good and bad. It will enable me to improve my company and staff as well as ensure our longevity.

Price I was quoted to replace a broken spring was $500 plus. I told them No thanks that was ridiculous . He told Me the springs were $300 alone
